Every eligible website is reviewed across the same five signals. The process rewards complete digital experiences, not a single impressive screen.
Meet the judging panelEach judge submits a score from 1 to 10 per criterion. Weighting keeps the final result balanced and transparent.
Visual hierarchy, typography, composition, consistency, and art direction across screen sizes.
Clear navigation, accessibility, responsive behaviour, feedback, and ease of completing key tasks.
Original thinking, meaningful interaction, and ideas that serve the website rather than distract from it.
Relevant writing, media, structure, and a clear relationship between the message and its presentation.
Performance, technical execution, progressive enhancement, semantic structure, and production polish.
A published profile records recognition permanently and credits both the website and its submitting studio.
We verify that the public URL works, the submission is complete, and the website meets the published rules.
Independent judges score the website from 1 to 10 against each of the five criteria.
Work meeting the quality threshold receives a permanent nominee profile and can progress to winner selection.
Judge scores form the primary result. Verified community voting provides a secondary signal when entries are closely matched.
Daily winners become eligible for Website of the Month. Monthly winners become eligible for Website of the Year.
Judges do not review work where a direct conflict exists. Scores are recorded individually, abnormal voting patterns can be excluded, and paid submission never guarantees nomination or an award.
